Position Description: To provide reference and technology use assistance to all patrons during assigned hours of library operation. Assist with the library’s web site maintenance in conjunction with other personnel, including creation of web tutorials. Provide reference services to on campus and distance education faculty and students. Manage evening and weekend reference personnel. Participate in Qualitative Research Team activities, including conducting research, providing updates, and compiling reports. Research technology trends in a library setting and make recommendations for the MCC Library to stay abreast of current technology offerings. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: work with faculty as a liaison for specific subject disciplines; commit to professional development; support and participate in activities and programs of the College. Evening and occasional weekend hours may be required. Receives general direction from the supervising Librarian/Professor Library Sciences.

Required Education: Master's degree from an American Library Association accredited college or university with major course work in library and/or information science.
Required Experience: Preferred Experience: One year relevant library experience.
